Somehow I missed Supre's new sunless tanning product, Cafe Bronzer, which sounds similar to Australian Gold Espresso Dark Tanning Milk. Here's what the Supre web site says about it: "Cafe Bronzer is a unique, two-in-one formula combining dark tan maximizers with self-tanning bronzers to give you a deep natural tan...instantly."
Dang it!
Then it was off to Kava Kava, a line introduced last year. They generously gave me a full size bottle of their sunless tanning product, Dusk Polynesian Sunless Tanning, and pretended it was their fault when I spilled my coffee all over their rug.
At the SUN Laboratories booth, I learned they have come out with several promising new products: SUN Strictly Faces in Extra Dark [aficionados of the discontinued Extra Dark Estee Lauder SuperTan product, take note], and mousse versions of all of their major products: Luxurious Self Tanning Milk, Tan Overnight, Ultra Dark, and Dark Sunsations.
Hooray!
The exhibitor, a charming young woman who had what sounded like a Brazilian accent, told me she had just used the Ultra Dark Mousse and liked it a lot, adding that it smelled better to her than the lotion product [as most people find the SUN lotions great smelling as it is, this is good news indeed]. In addition, SUN has added Vanilla and Raspberry scents to their bath and body line.
Although woefully short of samples, she gave me a full size Strictly Faces in Medium to try.
By this time, I was desperate for food, so I headed off to the dining area. I was sadly comparing the merits of pizza and hot dogs when a tall, tanned, familiar looking woman approached me and asked, "Are you Clara Pettitt?"
Yes, I replied, and then it dawned on me that I was gazing upon Barbara Nace of Tanforless.com. I blurted inanely, "I thought you were short!"
My confusion was explained when Eric Johnson of Tanforless.com turned up. I told them that they needed to stop posing together, as Eric, a small giant, makes Barb look a lot smaller than she is.
