On 1/14/2000, Troy Cooper, the president of Palm Beach Tan, Inc. and Mystic Tan, Inc, stated that "we are now able to market the Mystic Tan booth nationwide so that many [sunless.com] readers will be able to tan in a Mystic Tan booth in their own city before the end of the year."

He added, "The exciting news is that we have begun mass manufacturing of the booths and will have 21 of them installed in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex by the end of February. We have also signed franchised distributors for other markets around the country and expect to place over 400 booths in salons all over the United States in the next 12 months."
