Clara Pettitt, © 2003. All Rights Reserved. Au Courant Instant Sunless Tanning Lotion One of the most common emails I receive is: should I get the spray or should I get the lotion? [Now, of course, I'm going to be getting emails that ask if it is best to get the spray, the lotion, or the mousse]. If you have dry skin, you should get the lotion. Many people get both the spray and the lotion so that they can alternate between them, using the spray when their skin feels oily, and then using the lotion when their skin feels dry. Application tip: You can apply the lotion quickly with gloved hands. Heavy yellow rubber gloves work great. Just remember that this is a concentrated formula; one ounce will cover you from head to toe. Some people mix it half and half with regular body lotion before applying. Because they are concentrated, all of the Au Courant products are surprisingly inexpensive per application. May 3, 2001 Online merchant: TanForLess Rate this product and add a mini-review. The color was very orangy and the looked very spotchy. On a good note, application was easy and the lotion was not thick and sticky like others I have tried. Linda August, 1 2004 Most of the previous reviews are dead on. Color goes on great, never gets any darker and hard to work with (not as moisturizing as to be expected). And the bronzing agent does not last after 1 shower ~*~sunshine~*~ March, 3 2004 This is the best stuff I have ever used. The only product that has never turned me orange. First app can be light---but at least it is brown! You definitely need to blend well. |
