Clara Pettitt, © 2003. All Rights Reserved. Clinique Self-Sun Body Self Tanning Mist Years ago, I tried a spray sunless tanning product from Clinique. That product was a pale orange ghost of this one. Without doubt the best spray you will find at department stores, the spray mechanism is unusually good, even letting you spray upside down. The color is a medium/dark brown, much needed in Clinique’s sunless tanning lineup, as all the other products are either light or dark. The only drawback to the product is that the skin can get dry and lizardy if you use it a lot. Be sure to moisturize, moisturize, moisturize, and don’t use it exclusively – alternate it with a moisturizing sunless tanning lotion. While Clinique products are “fragrance free,” this one contains loads of herbal oils like lavender, sage, coriander, and cardamom, and should be avoided by people with sensitive skin. And do not get it in your eyes! It will sting them badly. Online merchant: Gloss.com Rate this product and add a mini-review. This product has an average rating of 1.0 from 2 members. It comes off in patches and left me looking as if I had a terrible skin disease. Would never repurchase. ~*~sunshine~*~ March, 3 2004 I ended up returning this product...it was the worst fading product I had ever used! I had "freckles" all over me---and it was very embarassing in the natural light. |
