Clara Pettitt, © 2003. All Rights Reserved. Coppertone Oil Free Effortless Color Dark As much as I liked the light/medium version of this product, I loved the dark version. This is the best sunless tanning product to use on the face that you can find in a drugstore. Don't hesitate to try it if you're extremely light-skinned; it works well on the pale. The fragrance smells like strong baby shampoo; fortunately, the odor fades within an hour. Easy to apply, it is a quick drying product. Unlike the other Coppertone lotions, you do not need to apply it generously. A thin coat works best. The tint in the product looks extremely dark when you squeeze it out of the tube, but, after you have spread it on your skin, it is practically invisible. Last but not least, the product has good staying power. You can expect your tan to last at least three days. Note: This product is also sold under than name Coppertone Oil Free Sunless Tanning Lotion with Vanishing Tint. Online merchant: TanForLess Rate this product and add a mini-review. Color guide looks great and blends well so you can wear this out without showering it off. Smells better than average. karalynn May, 22 2005 I agree with Clara's review - it is great for the money - or even if it were much more expensive. Didn't think I could self-tan after using Philosophy and it made me sweat terribly. I have learned the whole method here and really like this st Devn_Elizabeth May, 17 2005 I bought this after all the great reviews, thinking it would be the answer to my prayers.. but i was wrong. The color was yellowy on my -fair w/ rosy undertone skin- and lasted for about 2 days! The smell is also horrible, color guide is just as bad. |
