Clara Pettitt, © 2003. All Rights Reserved. Decleor Paris Self Tanning Hydrating Emulsion SPF 4 Decleor completely changed their line of sunless tanners in 2000. They now have three products, and the old Decleor Autobronzant Lumiere has been transformed into Decleor Autobronzant Lait Lumiere Hydratant. The original Decleor Autobronzant Lumiere was tinted with henna, smelled liked mowed grass, was exceptionally easy to apply, and was light/medium in color. The new product, Decleor Autobronzant Lait Lumiere Hydratant Self Tanning Hydrating Emulsion SPF 4 [take breath] has a slight sheen, a fair amount of perfume, applies easily, and is medium in color. It now contains erythrulose and mahakanni in addition to DHA. The only thing that hasn't changed is the sun screen it's still worthless. The amount of perfume disturbed my boyfriend. After two hours the scent faded and I found it perfectly acceptable, and I liked the color I got even more. My boyfriend, though, indicated strongly that a recurrence of the perfume in his life would result in terrible consequences [cat shaving, perhaps], so I sent the product to a gal in the sunless.com message board. I found it superior to a similar product, Biotherm SPF 12 Sublime Self-Tanner for Face and Body. If you like perfumed products, you will probably enjoy the entire line. The color looks very natural, smooths on with no streaks, and I like the shimmer it leaves on the skin. The only thing I don't really care for i Jodi Jeffers May, 4 2003 I thought this product was very over rated. The color was good, but I have gotten better color from sts that were much cheaper. clara May, 1 2003 Moisturizing but not greasy; great color. Very easy to apply. I found the perfume pleasant but my boyfriend couldn't stand it! |
