Clara Pettitt, © 2003. All Rights Reserved. Fake Bake Self-Tanning Lotion In 2001, Fake Bake revised their packaging dramatically. The Fake Bake sunless tanning lotion is now in an easy to use tube no more straining to get it out. In 2003, the packaging was revised again, featuring the new Bronzey Babe logo. But this product is now lagging behind the rest of the Fake Bake line. Fake Bake should reformulate this product with finer textured oils such as sweet almond, grapeseed, or safflower. They should also eliminate the thickening ingredient magnesium aluminum silicate, which can clog pores, perhaps increasing the percentage of dimethicone [the “slip agent” that gives the Estee Lauder SuperTan products their luxurious feel]. Not that the product is completely unchanged. It now features the pleasant rose scent found in the Fake Bake Mousse, and the instant bronzer is a more natural brown shade. This product has one of the darkest instant bronzers, or color guides, available. If you have used other tinted sunless tanners only to find that they didn't show up on your skin [a surprisingly common complaint], this product will thrill you. This product is also good for beginners, as you will absolutely not miss any spots! As with all products with instant bronzers, concentrate on coverage, not even instant color. This is a "forgiving" product, meaning slightly uneven application will still produce an even sunless tan. Online merchant: Fake Bake Rate this product and add a mini-review. Of course, I learned some things that'll make it easier next time, but the result was great. The color guide was scary at first, but no one sees me after I put it on excep Maria Braun May, 26 2005 This product gives a lovely natural looking tan yet it's a nightmare to apply as CG is really dark and messy Not worth the hassle Victoria May, 12 2005 Disgusting product! It's looks gross I didnt even want to put it on my skin way to expensivethere is no truth whatsoever in the saying"you get what you pay for" I have used drugstore brands better and cheaper than this!It smells and leav |
