Fantasy Tan

What is Fantasy Tan? It's a sunless tan that is applied via a special air brush system resulting in an even, natural looking tan.

The Fantasy Tan formula as well as the specialized air brush system are the result of years of research and testing by Starr Hamson, the founder of Fantasy Tan. Fantasy Tan made its first appearance in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and there are now dozens of locations in the U.S.

Fantasy Tan is sure to be a hit, as a salon can be up and running with a Fantasy Tan system for tens of thousands less than the Mist-On Tan. It will be an economical choice for salons which do not have the large client base that justifies the investment in the Mist-On Tan.

How it works: You stand there in whatever you want to wear [a bathing suit is common], and the operator of the Fantasy Tan applies a quick drying mist to you. The entire application process takes ten to twenty minutes. Within ten minutes you can get dressed as the spray dries almost instantly.

Expect to have perfect looking "tanned" hands and feet. It is also easy to do special effects by applying a darker coat to the areas of the body that get more sun, resulting in a natural look.

The Fantasy Tan Sunless Spray can be customized for individuals who are sensitive to fragrance, and it can be applied with or without an instant bronzer. Fantasy Tan even has an erythrulose-only formula for individuals allergic to DHA.

Important: Do not use a standard air brush system to apply a sunless tanning product. Standard air brushes, which operate at high pressure, can cause severe injury if used to apply cosmetic products.

I sprayed my upper body with Fantasy Tan D&E last weekend and I love it. Very dark brown results that darkened over almost a 48 hr time period. The solution smell is also nice and light, no heavy perfumes with this product.

While Fantasy Tans are usually fool proof, remember you should always test a new sunless tanning product in advance of important events like weddings! Fantasy Tan offers a DHA free spray for those who are allergic.

I love Fantasy Tan. It's so accurate, and it gives me a wonderful brown tan. There isn't much dha smell with it either. If it was not so expensive, I would use it all the time.
