Clara Pettitt, © 2003. All Rights Reserved. Neutrogena Instant Bronze Foam, Medium Like its cousin, the Instant Bronze Lotion, the Foam contains loads of caramel. As you apply it, you are left with dried patches of color, which produce a camouflage look. There is a solution: use a sponge paintbrush to apply. That turns it from one of the hardest products to apply into an absolute breeze. Not only will the sunless tan turn out even, the bronzer will look great, especially on legs. On me, the color did not look realistic, as it contains carmine [a red pigment made from the dried bodies of the female insect Coccus cacti, used for centuries in cosmetics]. As I tend to be red naturally, the effect on me was unfortunate. If you have golden skin tones, it should look great on you. I still liked the product because it dried fast, had minimal odor, and worked well on my face and neck. Like the Instant Bronze Lotion, the color fades quickly, and is likely to disappear completely within two days which makes it a good choice for beginners! Online merchant: drugstore.com

It came off the second it got a little wet, and got all over my clothes. I had no color the next day. I wont be using it again.
